National Life Group has introduced two indexed universal life (IUL) products: the FlexLife IUL policy and the PeakLife policy.

The Montpelier, Vermont-based company says it has designed the FlexLife policy to appeal to middle-income consumers who want to protect their families, and the PeakLife policy to appeal to businesses and other customers that are looking for larger policies.

Both policies offer access to more interest crediting options than other National Life IUL policies have, and both offer riders that can give the policyholders access to policy value if an insured suffers from a critical illness or injury, or from a terminal or chronic illness.

National Life will make a streamlined underwriting process available to applicants seeking up to $2 million in coverage, the company says.

National Life writes coverage through National Life Insurance Company of Montpelier, and through Life Insurance Company of the Southwest, which is based in Addison, Texas.
