TD Ameritrade Adds Pacific Life Indexed Annuity

TD Ameritrade is now offering a non-variable indexed annuity from Pacific Life.

TD Ameritrade has already been selling fixed annuities and fee-based variable annuities.

The company is now selling the Pacific Index Foundation annuity through TD Ameritrade annuity specialists, Pacific Life announced Thursday.

The Pacific Life annuity is the first indexed annuity to be offered through the TD Ameritrade program, the company said.

Brian Woolfolk, senior vice president of sales and chief marketing officer for Pacific Life’s retirement solutions division, said in a statement about the new relationship that the annuity may appeal to retirement savers who remember the 2007-2009 market downturn but might want more growth potential than they get from other options.
