Reliance Standard — a company in the Tokio Marine Group — has been especially active in the U.S. group disability, group life, voluntary benefits, absence management, and annuity markets.

Reliance Standard has been based in Philadelphia since 1982.

Reliance Standard has about 600 employees in Pennsylvania, and it hopes to add about 127 positions over the next three years, according to state officials.

Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., the real estate firm that helped Reliance Standard make the move, says the company could fit as many as 180 additional employees in the new offices.
