Life Happens Names New President
Marvin Feldman will continue to be the awareness campaign group's CEO.
Faisa Stafford will become the president of Life Happens Jan. 1, 2019, the group announced today.

Life Happens is a nonprofit, Arlington, Virginia-based group that organizes outreach campaigns for life insurance and related products, such as disability insurance.
The group is in charge of the current Life Insurance Awareness Month campaign.
Stafford has a bachelor’s degree from California State University in Chico, California. She worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for small businesses in the Washington area from 1999 through 2003, according to her LinkedIn entry.
In 2003, Stafford joined Life Happens to serve as the group’s comptroller. She has been the group’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer for 11 years.
Feldman said in a statement that Stafford will be especially active in efforts to promote Life Happens’ Life Happens Pro marketing support service.
Life Happens was formally known as the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education when it filed its most recent Form 990 tax return available on the Charity Navigator and GuideStar.org systems, which was for calendar year 2015.
The group reported $3.5 million in income in 2015 and $5.1 million in assets. The group attracted $3.1 million in contributions that year and raised about $934,000 from providing program services.
