President & CEO, Horizon Investments

Robbie Cannon is the President and CEO of Horizon Investments, LLC, which specializes in active asset allocation, risk mitigation and retirement income. During his tenure, which began in 1999, Horizon has grown from a small retail RIA firm to a multi-billion dollar third-party investment management group with a national footprint of independent broker dealers and institutional clients. His career in finance began in 1994, and has encompassed various aspects of portfolio management including asset allocation, equity analysis and risk management. He graduated from Furman University and lives in Charlotte, NC.

Todd Gervasini

Chief Investment Officer & Founder, Wakefield Asset Management

Todd is the founder of Wakefield Asset Management. He has worked in investment management since 1993. Todd currently directs the overall portfolio management, strategic investment research, and development initiatives for Wakefield Asset Management and Wakefield Wealth Management.

Prior to founding Wakefield, he was the President and co-founder of Capital West Asset Management, a quantitative investment management firm where he served as the portfolio manager for the firm’s quantitative equity strategies. Responsibilities included managing a mutual fund, private client accounts, and the private placement vehicles. Clients included Fortune 500 companies, university endowments, Indian Tribes, foundations, mutual funds, high net-worth individuals, and family offices, etc.

Chuck Severson, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager & Managing Director, Baird Equity Asset Management

Chuck has over 29 years of investment experience. He is currently a Senior Portfolio Manager on Baird Equity Asset Management’s Mid Cap Growth product and covers industrials and software. Chuck earned a Master of Science degree in finance in 1987 and BBA degree in 1982 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a member of the Applied Security Analysis Program. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1991.

Tim Clift

Chief Investment Strategist, Envestnet PMC

Mr. Clift serves as Chief Investment Strategist at Envestnet | PMC and is responsible for research and consulting services for the organization. He leads a team of analysts who are responsible for the selection and monitoring of investment managers and a team of consultants who support institutional and advisory clients. Mr. Clift serves on PMC’s Investment Committee and is instrumental in setting investment policy for the Company.

Prior to joining Envestnet | PMC, Mr. Clift was the Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee at FundQuest. He joined FundQuest in 1994 and maintained overall responsibility for the firm’s investment management programs for separately managed accounts, mutual funds, alternative investments, exchange-traded funds, and annuities. As Chairman of the Investment Committee, he led a team of analysts and portfolio managers that produced the firm’s research and recommendations.
