SE2 could hire as many as 60 people for a new life and annuity service center in Dallas by the end of the year.
The company is now advertising openings for two levels of account services representatives for the Dallas office. SE2 would prefer to get applications from candidates who have gone to college, but it is not requiring applicants for the service positions to have college degrees.

Security Benefit, a life insurance company based in Topeka, Kansas, started the SE2 unit in 2005, to create a vehicle for selling support services to other life insurers.
The unit now handles about 1,000 life and annuity products for three dozen carriers in North America. It unit has about $100 billion in life and annuity assets under administration.
