Trust is paramount for high-net-worth clients

Attracting higher net worth clients is what every advisor hopes to achieve. Over the years I have realized that individuals with larger amounts of assets are looking for someone that more than anything they can trust. The key to attracting them and getting that first meeting is making a GREAT first impression and showing them that you are a capable financial planner.

Higher net worth individuals are constantly approached and have been given every sales pitch in the book. At the end of the day, they want to know that the person they are working with will put their best interest first. Credentials and designations are a great way to achieve this. Also, try to get them to attend a small client event with some of your key clients so they can mingle and get more comfortable.
