Jefferson National says it has hired Thomas Quinn to fill a new role as chief investment and research officer.
The company, which provides an investment platform to some 3,000 RIAs and fee-based advisors, says it will also launch a whitepaper series authored by Quinn, starting this year, focused on tax-advantaged investment strategies.
“We’re very excited to welcome Tom to the executive team at Jefferson National in a new role that has been created specifically with his strengths in mind,” said President Laurence P. Greenberg, in a statement.
“His success and proven track record as a leading investment professional, combined with his innovative approach to analytics, makes him a unique complement to our leadership team and an invaluable asset in our mission to serve RIAs, fee-based advisors and their clients,” Greenberg explained.
Quinn, CFA, has been in the business for 15 years. Before joining Jefferson National, he served as chief investment officer of Spouting Rock Financial Partners, a boutique consulting firm for investment advisors, trust companies and family offices, according to his LinkedIn profile. He began his career at Glenmede Trust.
“At Jefferson National, there is an unwavering commitment to providing RIAs and fee-based advisors with the tools they need to best serve their clients, and our proprietary research and tools will be developed with this goal in mind,” said Quinn, in a press release.
“There is a great opportunity to make our platform even more impactful by providing advisors with timely, informative and relevant analyses of industry trends, along with actionable solutions to help them create more client value,” the new Jefferson executive added.
