Senate OKs gay rights bill banning discrimination, measure heads to House

The bill, which passed the Senate by 32 points will head on to the Republican-controlled House where it will face strong headwinds if it is even allowed to come up for a vote due to John Boehner’s belief that it would create “costly and frivolous” lawsuits were it to become law.
