Since the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was passed in 2010, there has been no shortage of foreboding predictions from opponents. However, health insurers have not been among those sounding the alarm over the health care law’s implementation. One likely reason is that the increase in business will offset the costs of new regulations.
