The American Dream, RIP

Economist Tyler Cowen sees the death of the American Dream on the horizon and, if that happens, the country might as well wish it never wakes up and softly dies in its sleep. The reason for that is simple: The Death of the American Dream is tantamount to the death of the country because it is the motivating factor that keeps American have-nots striving to become American haves without that desire and drive we simply will have nothing.
