Economists: Yellin likely to succeed Bernanke

Janet Yellen will most likely be the first woman to head the Federal Reserve. Although some economists still feel the president could nominate Larry Summers, the general consensus is that Yellen will get the nod to succeed Ben Bernanke. The theory is that the progressive President Obama will enjoy giving the first woman the job but sex has little to do with Yellen’s impeccable credentials.
