Larry Hagman, who passed away last week at the age of 81, played one of the most ruthless villains on TV in the hit series, Dallas. In real life, however, Hagman and his wife lost “seven figures” when a financial planner invested their money in stocks that eventually tanked in the financial meltdown of 2008. Experts believe as more seniors retire and seek advice on what to do with their 401(k) plans, they will fall prey to unscrupulous professionals who will invest their funds inappropriately.
