New York Life Insurance Company has named Patrick McCraw its senior vice president in charge of the company’s south central agencies.

McCraw now oversees recruiting, training and development for the managing partners who lead the 33 general offices in the south central zone, which includes 13 states, from Florida to Michigan. He is also responsible for the sales production and overall supervision of that region’s offices, which employ 2,700 agents.

McCraw succeeds John Curry, who has become managing partner for New York Life’s general office in New York. He holds an M.B.A. from Mississippi College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi.
