Physicians Mutual president and CEO Robert A. Reed announces the appointment of Ann Frohman as senior vice president of government and industry.
Frohman brings to the company a diverse background of regulatory and industry expertise at both the state and national levels. She will oversee all aspects of the company’s compliance and regulatory affairs efforts.

Her many talents will help position the company for continued growth in a challenging environment of increasing health care costs.”
Frohman began her career as a staff attorney for the Nebraska Department of Insurance in 1990. In 1997, she left the department to serve as the state risk manager. She returned to the Insurance Department in 2000 as general counsel. In 2007, Frohman was appointed by Governor Heineman as state insurance director.
A native of North Platte, Neb., Frohman received her law degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
