Allianz Life hires Debra Repya as senior director of advanced markets

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Minneapolis, has named Debra Repya as the new senior director of advanced markets. In this role, Repya will be responsible for the strategic direction of Allianz Life's Advanced Market's Group, creating industry-leading content and expertise. Repya will also oversee the development, promotion, utilization and quality of the Advanced Markets tools and services.

"Repya's experience in leading advanced markets teams within the financial services industry brings additional horsepower to our marketing department," said Katie Libbe, vice president of consumer marketing and solutions at Allianz Life. "Her role will be to expand our reach and raise awareness of Allianz Life's unique capabilities in this area."

Repya came to Allianz from Securian Financial Services Business Development Center, where she served as a senior advanced strategies counsel, working with teams of attorneys, financial planners and consultants to support financial advisors and firms with financial, estate and business planning. Prior to that, she held a number of leadership roles with Minnesota Life, where she directed a department of up to six attorneys and three staff members and created the department's strategic plans. She also managed all aspects of the advanced marketing case design, consultation, training and project creation.
