AlwaysCare Eliminates Ancillary Benefits Waiting Period For Some

AlwaysCare Benefits Inc. has updated the OnePlus Individual Dental and Vision products.

Eligible consumers now can buy the plans online, without facing a waiting period, according to AlwaysCare, Baton Rouge, La.

Consumers can buy the products without a waiting period if they already are in an AlwaysCare group dental plan and their coverage is terminating for any reason, or if they have another AlwaysCare individual dental product and want to add vision coverage.

They also can get coverage without a waiting period if they have an individual dental plan that covers major services with another carrier that is terminating for any reason, the company says.

“Members qualifying for the no-waiting-period coverage will have immediate access to all dental and vision plan benefits, plus the hearing savings plan,” the company says.

The products are fully insured plans and are designed for individuals ages 19 and older.

Plans are also available with coverage for a spouse and for children.

All products come with a hearing products and services discount program at no additional cost.
