Practice management “reinvention” is the theme for 2010, a message Pershing, LLC. plans to convey at its annual Insite conference in Hollywood, Florida, June 9-11. With an tenuous economic recovery taking effect and advisors re-investing in their businesses, this year’s conference features former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, professor and author Moshe Milevsky, professor and author Jeremy Siegel, and CNN commentator David Gergen as keynote speakers.

Boomer Market Advisor Editor John Sullivan will blog from the event, available on the Investment Advisor Group’s Web sites Investment Advisor, Research, WealthManagerWeb and Boomer Market Advisor. Related speaker and topic information will also be made available.

Breakout sessions in line with this year’s theme include, Asset Consolidation: Simplifying the Big Picture for Your Clients; Changes in the Regulatory Environment: What You Can Expect; Find a New Niche: Become a Retirement Specialist; Estate Planning 2010: What’s Different and What’s Next; and, Redefining Your Value Proposition in Today’s Market.

In all, 25 breakout sessions are planned with 10 keynote speeches. The annual event attracts advisors and broker/dealers executives that partner with Pershing for use of its custody and clearing platform. Past speakers include former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan and investor T. Boone Pickens. The event attracted 1,000 attendees in 2009.
