Eastbridge: Worksite Producers Push For Guaranteed Issue

Pressure for underwriting changes is one of the most noteworthy trends affecting the insurers that write voluntary products.

About 58% of the voluntary worksite carriers that participated in a recent survey organized by Eastbridge Consulting Group Inc., Avon, Conn., identified demand for more “guaranteed issue” products as the most prominent product trend, and 53% selected “lower participation requirements.”
