In an effort to provide “real world,” applicable sales training to the independent agents of the insurance and financial industry, 14 of the most accomplished top producers will come together to present their business-building secrets and strategies at a two and a half day sales conference. The 2009 Learn to Earn Agent Sales Summit, Oct. 7-9 in the Kansas City area, will feature a record-breaking concentration of million dollar plus personal producers, meeting industry demand for sales training by those who have achieved the highest levels of success and are still actively maintaining a thriving business. This event has been designed for agents, by agents.

“No matter where you’re at in your career, whether you are a $1 million, $5 million or $30 million producer this event has a takeaway for everyone. There’s enough variety and diversity of events to please and fill the sales tool voids of anyone who attends,” said Mark Roberts, ChFC, a top-producing agent and presenter of the session “Life Insurance for the Living.”

The event will be hosted by Creative Marketing, a national insurance marketing organization recently ranked as the #1 IMO for overall agent satisfaction by the Beta Group Research company. Creative Marketing is assisting with the organization, logistics and promotion of the 2009 Learn to Earn event.

Learn to Earn will cover a variety of topics, including sales and marketing methods, the psychology behind selling, consumer behavior, financial strategy, best practices, and more from the top producing agents’ experiences. Each speaker, a $1 million-plus producer, will share their business building strategies, ideas and methods that contributed to their own professional success.

Scott McKain, motivational speaker and “business thinker,” author of No. 1 business bestsellers “Collapse of Distinction,” “All Business is Show Business” and What Customers REALLY WANT,” will be the keynote speaker. McKain, who has presented to corporations such as American Express and Hallmark, will bring to the platform his entertaining, thought provoking and straightforward perspective on how to stand out and move up in your business by creating the “Ultimate Customer Experience.”

Carrier sponsors of the 2009 Learn to Earn Agent Sales Summit include Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (ALZ), American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company (AEI), Annexus Group, Aviva USA, AXA Equitable, Genworth Financial, Great American Insurance Group (GAI), John Hancock, Lafayette Life, Lincoln Financial Group, Royal Bank of Canada Liberty Insurance (RBC), National Western Life (NWL), North American Company for Life and Health Insurance (NACOLAH), Old Mutual Financial Network (OMFN), Principal Financial Group (PFG), Prudential, Sun Life Financial, The Heritage Group, TransAmerica and West Coast Life.

Representatives of the National Ethics Bureau (NEB) and the National Association for Fixed Annuities (NAFA) will be in attendance at the summit, exhibiting and providing attending agents with more information on their group and how to become affiliated.

Mike “Cy” Cajthaml, CFP(R), a lead organizer of Learn to Earn and senior vice president of Tailor Made, Creative Marketing’s elite membership group of top advisors, further explained, “This event is dedicated to sales ideas for agents by agents, and will only feature agent-presenters on the platform. As a personal producer for more than 20 years, I know I could have benefited by learning from the industry’s most accomplished agents earlier in my career. I’m now in the position, through Creative Marketing, to provide others with that opportunity; I wholeheartedly support giving them the training they want and need to reach the results they desire, and at an escalated rate.”

The Learn to Earn Agent Sales Summit will be held at the Overland Park Sheraton Hotel and will be limited to 300 attendees. The event is open to all agents; however, an attendee must be a qualified, insurance-licensed agent or advisor. The fee to attend is $395, and includes meals and lodging.
