New York Life Insurance Company has named Michael Gallo senior vice president of the long-term care operation.
Gallo succeeds Dennis O’Brien.
Gallo previously was senior vice president of retirement income at New York Life, New York.
Gallo has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Manhattan College. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

- Watson Wyatt Worldwide Inc., Washington, has named Martin Pike global director of the firm’s insurance and financial services consulting practice.
Pike will succeed Philip Brook, who will retire July 1, Watson Wyatt says.
- American United Life Insurance Company, a unit of OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc., Indianapolis, has hired Deborah Rubin to be a retirement services regional sales director in the Washington area.
