NAVA Inc. has elected Mark Casady to be chairman.
Casady has succeeded Clifford Jack as head of the board at NAVA, Reston, Va., an annuity industry group.
Casady is chairman of LPL Financial Corp., San Diego.
Jack is chief distribution officer at Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich., a unit of Prudential P.L.C., London.
NAVA also has elected James Shepherdson vice chair.
Shepherdson is president of AXA Distributors, New York, a unit of AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, New York. AXA Equitable is a unit of AXA S.A., Paris.
NAVA reports that it also has expanded the size of its board to 21 members, from 19.
