The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod has hired the retirement services arm of American United Life Insurance Company to provide a new, voluntary 403(b) plan.

WELS, Indianapolis, represents 1,200 Lutheran congregations and 4 seminaries.

American United is a unit of OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc., Indianapolis.

American United is working with Goldleaf Partners, Brainerd, Minn., a retirement consulting and administrative firm, and Hahn Financial Group Inc., Sioux Falls, S.D., a general agency, to handle the WELS account, American United says.
