Mutual of Omaha is adding a 401(k) plan investment management option.

Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb., will be offering 401(k) account holders active portfolio management services from PMFM Inc., Watkinsville, Ga.

Plan participants who choose the PMFM Manage It For Me option, which is part of the PMFM 401k Toolbox program, come up with an investment strategy. PMFM then helps the participants with portfolio selection and monitoring.

The Toolbox program meets the requirements for a qualified default investment alternative for plan participants who fail to say what they want plan administrators to do with their money, Mutual of Omaha says.
