A large Midwestern state says it will be accepting product rate, rule and form filings only through the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing.

The Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation says it will require insurers to submit all filings through SERFF starting April 1, 2009.

“Any paper filings received after April 1, 2009, will be rejected without review,” officials say in Michigan Bulletin 2008-05-INS.
