Standard Insurance Company has introduced a software system aimed at employers and their benefits advisors.
The new, Web-based tool can create a customized benefits enrollment process tailored to fit the eligibility status of each employee, according to Standard, a unit of StanCorp Financial Group Inc., Portland, Ore.
In addition to helping with annual benefits enrollments, the system can help with enrolling new hires and changing benefits for employees who experience life-changing events, Standard says.
