Markets, jobs fall on new bailout proposal

U.S. stock futures fell early Wednesday in anticipation of the $700 billion bailout, according to MarketWatch. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 81 points to 10,780, while the S&P 500 fell 11 points to 1,158 and Nasdaq 100 dropped 19.75 points to 1,584.75.

The ADP employment index for the private sector fell also, dropping by 8,000, although economists expected a 65,000 drop.
