In an effort to provide 'real world' and applicable sales training to the agents of the insurance and financial industry, 18 of the most accomplished and well recognized top producers will come together to present their business building secrets and strategies at an unprecedented two and a half day sales conference. The Learn to Earn Agent Sales Summit, to be held October 8 – 10, 2008 in the Kansas City area, will feature a record concentration of 'real-life' million dollar plus personal producers, meeting industry demand for sales training by those who have achieved the highest levels of success and are still actively maintaining a thriving business. This event has been designed for agents, by agents.

"We're giving back," stated David Scranton, CLU, ChFC, CFP, CFA, a top producing agent and presenter of the session 'Secrets of a 30 Million Dollar Producer.' "It took most of us a long time to find our niche in this business. If we can help other agents forego some of the learning curve, find their own niche and build upon their existing strengths and knowledge, then we've accomplished our goal. We want to help other agents get in a position to effectively help more people, while growing their own successful business."

The event is being hosted by Creative Marketing, a national insurance marketing organization and recognized industry leader in agent education. The company is assisting with organization, logistics and promotion of the Learn to Earn event.

Learn to Earn will cover a variety of topics, including sales and marketing methods, the psychology behind selling, consumer behavior, financial strategy, best practices, and more from the top producing agent's experiences. Each million-dollar plus producer presenting will share their business building strategies, ideas or methods that contributed to their own professional success. A few notable topics from the 18 business building sessions include:

-The Estate Planning Play Book; presented by Al Longtin, ChFC

-Seminars of Tomorrow; presented by Kim Magdalein

-One-on-One With the Client; presented by Bill McLaughlin, CFP (R)

-A-Z Sales Methodologies; presented by Charles Sawyer

-Stand up and Shout! What makes you Different?; presented by Cindy Watson

Larry Winget, the self proclaimed 'pitbull of personal development' and author of Shut Up, Stop Whining and Get a Life, It's Called WORK For A Reason and You're Broke Because You Want to Be!, will be the event's key note speaker. Winget, who is also the host of the popular television show, Big Spender, will bring to the platform his exhilarating, entertaining and straight-forward, no-nonsense perspective on achieving and managing success.

Major supporters of the event include, media sponsor, Senior Market Advisor magazine, part of Summit Business Media; and insurance carrier sponsors include Aviva USA, Old Mutual Financial Network (OMFN), Lincoln Financial, Royal Bank of Canada Liberty Insurance (RBC), National Western Life (NWL), American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company (AEI), American General, North American Company for Life and Health Insurance (NACOLAH), American National and Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (ALZ).

Mike "Cy" Cajthaml, CFP, a lead organizer of Learn to Earn and Senior Vice President of Tailor Made, Creative Marketing's elite membership group of top advisors, further explained, "This event is dedicated to sales ideas for agents by agents, and will only feature agent-presenters on the platform. As a personal producer for more than 20 years, I know I could have benefited by learning from the industry's most accomplished earlier in my career. I'm now in the position, through Creative Marketing, to provide others with that opportunity; I wholeheartedly support giving them training they want and need to reach the results they desire, and at an escalated rate."

Creative Marketing's Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Communications, Merrit Strunk, summed it up with, "Hosting this event is just another example of Creative Marketing's dedication to agent education. We provide the industry what it wants, when it wants it; we've heard the requests from the agent force and, together with the 18 presenters, we are providing these agents with the tools, ideas and practice advice they need to successfully build their businesses."

Learn to Earn will be held October 8- 10, 2008 at the Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas, just outside Kansas City, and will be limited to 250 attendees.
