National Financial Partners Corp. has hired Donna Blank to be chief financial officer and executive vice president.

Blank previously was chief financial officer at NFP, New York.

Blank has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and master’s degrees in international affairs and business from Columbia University.

In other personnel news:

- Aetna Inc., Hartford, has hired Rajan Parmeswar to be vice president, controller and chief accounting officer.

Parmeswar succeeds Ronald Olejniczak, who has retired.

Parmeswar previously was a partner in the Hartford office of PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P.

Parmeswar has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from DAV College in Chandigarh, India.

- Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, Omaha, Neb., has hired James Claffee to be regional president-Southwest for Mutual of Omaha Bank.

Claffee previously was president of First National Bank of Nevada, Reno, Nev., and an affiliate, First Heritage Bank N.A., Newport Beach, Calif.

Claffee also has served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.

Claffee has a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a master’s degree in business from San Diego State University.

- Genworth Financial Asset Management, Encino, Calif., a unit of Genworth Financial Inc., Richmond, Va., has hired Gary Cox to be senior vice president, product specialist.

Cox previously was senior vice president-product specialist for structured products at the institutional asset management unit of Lehman Brothers Inc., New York.

Cox has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Manitoba. He holds the Chartered Accountant professional designation.
