The FPA has formed a new panel whose goal is to “identify the best practices for the financial planning profession under the new CFP fiduciary standard.” The task force comprises members from large financial planning firms to independent fee-only planners to broker/dealers and compliance professionals. It also includes representatives from FPA leadership committees and the Board of Directors, as well as representatives of the CFP Board of Standards and Fi360, a fiduciary accrediting association.
