A professional services firm has created a subsidiary that will sell advisory services to insurers.
Towers Perrin Inc., Stamford, Conn., says Towers Perrin Capital Markets Inc., New York, will offer insurers help with risk-linked securities, retirement risk transfer transactions and asset risk management.
The chief executive officer of the subsidiary will be Prakash Shimpi, who has been head of the Towers Perrin enterprise risk management practice.
