The Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association has organized a process improvement advisory team to help insurers, agencies and producers adopt new methods for selling life insurance directly to consumers.

LIDMA, Atlanta, has been testing the new “E-Process” package, which includes electronic signature, electronic delivery and credit processing technologies and standards, on several insurers and agencies, and it now wants to spread the advances throughout the industry, the group says.
