Pru Ties Donations To Retirement

Prudential Financial Inc. is giving $5 million to nonprofit groups in honor of Arthur Ryan, the company’s longtime chairman, who recently retired.

Prudential, Newark, N.J., is recognizing Ryan’s service to the company by contributing $4 million to the endowment of the Newark Museum and $1 million to the Campaign for New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
