Personnel Changes: MetLife, AXA Equitable, Others

MetLife Investors Distribution Company, a unit of MetLife Inc., has hired Kevin Crowe to be managing director for the annuity bank channel.

Crowe previously was bank channel chairman at John Hancock, Boston, a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto, according to MetLife, New York.

Crowe, who founded an annuity marketing company that was acquired by Hancock in 2000, was one of the founding directors of the Bank Insurance and Securities Association, Washington.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania.

In other personnel news:

- AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, New York, a unit of AXA S.A., Paris, has promoted Tracey Gray-Walker to chief diversity officer.

Gray-Walker previously was vice president of business development and opportunities.

Gray-Walker has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a trustee for the New Jersey Center for Outreach and Services in the Autistic Community.

- Lincoln National Corp., Philadelphia, is promoting Lisa Marie DeSimone to vice president of corporate development. She has been a senior vice president and senior financial services officer at Delaware Investments, a Lincoln affiliate.

DeSimone has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in business from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

- Pan-American Life Insurance Company, New Orleans, has hired Richard White to be executive vice president-domestic markets.

White previously was a senior vice president for group insurance at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York.

White has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska.

- Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America, Okemos, Mich., an ancillary benefits company, has promoted Tonya Draughon to director of national marketing and business development and David Ryan to director of national sales.

Draughon previously was market development manager.

Ryan helped set up the Renaissance sales and support center.
