The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is calling on benefits professionals to observe this year’s National Employee Benefits Day by helping employees be better informed about their health.

The day, which the IFEBP created in 2004, is celebrated each year on April 2.

IFEBP, Brookfield, Wisc., has added health care literacy topics to its Web site, including downloadable tip sheets that employers and benefits professionals can distribute to employees. The site, which also offers a list of free health education resources, can be found .
