CIGNA Corp. is once again backing the Philadelphia Orchestra’s Annual Tribute Concert for Martin Luther King, Jr., to be held at 7 p.m. today at Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia.
The program, conducted by Thomas Wilkins, will include the Philadelphia All City Choir, directed by Dorina Morrow.
CIGNA, Philadelphia, has sponsored the concert since its beginning in 1990.
During today’s event, H. Edward Hanway, chairman and chief executive officer of CIGNA, will announce the total amount of funds raised throughout the region to support the planned Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial in Washington.
