Prudential Financial Inc. has changed the way it organizes group insurance sales.

Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., has increased the number of sales regions to 5, from 4, and it will ask sales representatives to specialize in serving customers in one of several different size categories, the company says.

The company now will divide the market into a segment that includes employer plans with 25 to 999 lives; a second with 1,000 to 14,999 lives; and a third with 15,000 or more lives.
