Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company is energizing a marketing campaign by appealing to agents’ generosity.

MassMutual, Springfield, Mass., will contribute up to $3,000 to local cancer organizations that help people with breast cancer on behalf of each MassMutual agency that conducts a Pearls of Wisdom financial education seminar in its community this month.

The Pearls of Wisdom seminars are designed to help women think about retirement planning and other financial issues.

A similar 2006-2007 marketing campaign raised about $110,000.
