American College Honors Beckley And DiCerbo

The American College will be awarding its Huebner Gold Medal to William Beckley and to Louis DiCerbo II.

The medals will be presented during a ceremony in November, in Orlando, Fla.

The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., offers classes and designation programs for insurance professionals. It set up the medal program, named after college founder Solomon Huebner, to recognize college supporters.

Beckley is an executive vice president for agencies at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, Milwaukee. He has served for 9 years on the American College board. While on the board, he has been chairman of the audit committee and the technology committee.

DiCerbo, chairman of PCP Benefit Plans Ltd., New York, served on the board of the college for 6 years and has been a member of all of the college’s committees. He also chaired a society that raised almost $5 million for the college.

DiCerbo is a former president of the New York City Life Underwriters Association and a former national director of GAMA International, Falls Church, Va.
