VSR Financial Services hired Christopher Radford as its new president. Radford comes to VSR from AIG Financial Advisers in San Diego, where he was executive VP of national sales. J. Michael Stanfield has served as VSR’s president and CEO and will remain VSR’s CEO after the transition.

American Century Investments has named Stephen Lurito as CIO for U.S. growth equity, which manages $30 billion, or nearly one-third of American Century’s assets under management. Lurito joins American Century from MUUS Asset Management LLC, where he managed a $70 million hedge fund of funds and oversaw investment activity for $57 million in private equity funds.
