Life Settlement Solutions Inc. has received a life settlement provider license from New Jersey insurance regulators.
New Jersey passed a law establishing a life settlement provider licensing program that took effect Dec. 21, 2005. The state permitted existing providers to continue to operate while going through the licensing process, according to Life Settlement Solutions, San Diego.
Life Settlement Solutions, which has been doing business in New Jersey since 2003, says it believes it is one of the first companies to get a provider license in New Jersey.
