A Northwestern life insurer has asked an outside company to provide desk-side computer support at its headquarters.
Symetra Life Insurance Company, Bellevue, Wash., has included desk-side support services in its technology support services contract with Affiliated Computer Services Inc., Dallas, according to ACS.
Symetra began using ACS to run its data centers, networks, voice communication systems and service desk in 2004.
