The Missouri Department of Transportation and Missouri Highway Patrol Medical and Life Insurance Plan has picked WellPoint NextRx to run its prescription benefits program.

The 3-year contract calls for WellPoint Next, Thousand Oaks, Calif., a unit of WellPoint Inc., Indianapolis, to provide pharmacy benefit services for 27,500 Missouri plan members, according to WellPoint NextRx.
