Superior Dental Care Alliance Inc. has introduced the Direct Plan dental plan.

Employers that adopt the plan will set a maximum amount they will allocate to reimbursement for each employee each year, then uses a present reimbursement schedule to reimburse employees for the care actually received, according to Superior Dental, Dayton, Ohio.

The Direct Plan is based on the “direct reimbursement” plan model promoted by the American Dental Association, Chicago, according to Superior Dental.
