Carrier Supports Programs For Kids

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation is giving a total of $475,000 to 13 efforts to help improve children’s lives and health.

The largest grant, for $150,000, will go to the National Center for Healthy Housing, Columbia, Md., which hopes to use tenant education and environmentally sensitive renovation methods to improve the health of residents of an apartment complex in Worthington, Minn., according to Minnesota Blue, Eagan, Minn.
