Pacific Life Insurance Company has set up a unit that will help financial professionals sell mutual funds and variable annuities to clients approaching retirement.

The new Retirement Resource Group employs 7 certified financial planners and certified retirement counselors, according to Pacific Life, Newport Beach, Calif.
