The main operating arm of StanCorp Financial Group Inc. is adding a sales office in Minneapolis.
Standard Insurance Company, Portland, Ore., is adding a regional retirement plans sales office to an existing employee benefits sales and service office in Minneapolis, the company says.
The new office will serve retirement plan sponsors and brokers in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Jim VanZwol, who has worked for Standard since 1998, will be the pension consultant in the Minneapolis retirement plans office, Standard says.
