The Employee Benefits Security Administration has posted advance copies of the 2006 Form 5500 and related schedules on its Web site.

The U.S. Department of Labor, EBSA’s parent, has changed Schedules H and I to refer to a new program can employers can use to correct reporting errors voluntarily.

The forms also include new instructions for how employers should count welfare plan participants and voluntaries, and Labor has eliminated one form, the Annual Return of Fiduciary of Employee Benefit Trust, officials say.
