Fiserv Appoints New CFO

Fiserv Inc. has named Thomas Hirsch as its chief financial officer, effective July 1.

Hirsch will replace Kenneth Jensen, who is retiring after 22 years with Fiserv, Brookfield, Wis., which provides information technology services to financial and health care companies.

Hirsch was also named executive vice president and appointed to the management committee, effective May 1.

He first joined Fiserv in 1994 and served most recently as senior vice president and corporate controller.

After his retirement, Jensen agreed to serve as a special consultant to Jeff Yabuki, president and CEO of Fiserv.

The company also promoted James Cox to the new position of executive vice president, mergers and acquisitions, effective May 1. He had been group president of Fiserv Health.
