An arm of American International Group Inc. is streamlining its employee benefits marketing organization.
AIG American General, Houston, says it is setting up a new unit, AIG Employee Benefit Solutions, to combine sales of group benefits, group worksite and individual worksite products.
Products will include group life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, disability insurance, dental insurance, vision plans, cancer insurance and critical illness insurance.
HealthPlan Services Inc., Tampa, Fla., will handle administration.
Features will include electronic enrollment capabilities, automated underwriting and renewals, and systems that will give AIG American General the ability to put charges for all products on one bill, AIG American General says.
